The Dentist and the Manicurerist

Could anybody please give clue to this problem? A man (dentist) and his bride (manicurist) went to the marriage center to fill a paper for their wedding. After submitting their documents to the officer in-charge, the man read through their submission and ruled that the two cannot marry themselves. The intending couples asked the man why, but he said they should go back home and find out why by themselves. Please why in the world would a dentist and a manicurist would not be allowed to marry?
