renters rights in Texas

We are renting a house in Texas. We are getting ready to renew our lease for 6 months. The landlord wants to put the house for sale. What is our rights if the house is sold within the 6 month lease time frame?

You'll need to talk to a lawyer in your state who handles property & housing law for accurate information. Here in Massachusetts a new owner must honor the current lease or buy it out. So if your home sold when you still had 4 months left on the lease, the new owner would either have to rent to you for the same fee or they'd have to pay your rent (& moving expenses) for another place for the remaining 4 months.
