Do you keep a list of books

of all the books you have read and write a summary of what knowledge you attained from them. I have seen others do this, and it has been suggested to me as a great method of really knowing all the books you have read and how you have expanded your intelligence and wisdom through reading. Do you do this?

I did do this for a long time. I haven't added anything to it lately but I really should update it. Just got out of the habit. That and the folder was getting a little too big. What I should do is see about transfering it all to computer but oh that would take so long.

that's a great idea. sometimes im too busy to write everything down, so i just read for the simple pleasure of reading the book, but its nice to remmember what you took from that book

I once planned on doing that, but I don't know why I gave up that idea...

Great idea, ive never done it and its so easy to forget the ones you have read unless they are outstanding. I doubt ill ever get round to that however!
