Mild winter triggers spring fever
An unusually warm winter has sown confusion among animals at a zoo on Bulgaria's Black Seacoast, causing two bears to miss their usual hibernation period and peacocks to lay eggs months early. "The animals are confused. They are acting more like it is spring than the dead of winter," said Todor Hristov, zoo director in the port city of Varna.. Temperatures have risen to as high as 13 degrees Centigrade over the last few days in Varna, far warmer than usual. Hristov said the two 35-year-old bears may go to sleep once temperatures fall Up to around minus three for at least 10 consecutive days

Mild winter has had a major impact on wildlife. Unsterilized feral queens have mated during the winter months, I've seen black bears, wolves, silver foxes and the more then unsual numbers of coyotes the past two years.
Global warming is having a major impact on all life species on this planet. In the news they said this coming summer here we will notice an increase in temperatures of 2.5 higher then normal.

This is scarey. I noticed things here in Tennessee, with snow falling in October, then being able to wear shorts during Nov-Jan on some days.
Those poor animals. This world really needs to wake up before it's to late.

nowadays the world is going beyong the nature doing everything bad to the nature.So the temperature goes on increasing.The world is getting polluted too much by all fields the Environmental studies must be taught to all in order to stop the bad things happening around the world.So it is all with us to save the world from all the drastic change .Save the world and save the time ..Slogan Reuse recyle reproduce

Yes, that is true you know! The earth has turned into a giant warm ball and we will have seasons all turned around. I wish the "end" is not near.

Yeah for me i've noticed a good one;since the winter season started in Ukraine here,i have seen snow fall and the weather had been favourable with a manageable cold temperature unlike before!!

All the weather around the world is changing rapidly all the animals do not know what they are supposed to do due to the weather patterns, it is very strange here in our world today, the poor animals, or even for us humans we have to pack more things in our luggage as when we get to our destinations we do not know what the weather will do.

Yes i agree with you I live in GOA India and and a lot of strange things happened here.normally the monsoon season starts in june but in 2006 it rained in may and since it rained early there was acute suppy of water in the summer and all the ground water in our neighbourhood dried up.I think these is due to the rapid urbanisation that is going on in india.

Wow.. it's really interesting that the warm winter is confusing animals in this way. I had never considered the warm weather having such an effect! I know that we are sure having a warmer winter than in a long time, here in Missouri. I hope that these animals are not adversely affected by missing their hibernation period! At least it sounds like they may sleep once the temps go down a bit! ^_^

one of the prime reason for such a climatic change is global warming. it has and will have adverse affects on the world. more places will face drought and places will face floods.
more places will feel a lot hotter than the usual and the winters will get a lot colder than whats being experienced currently.

Ya this a real big problem for all living beings. The global warming is increasing day by day and we are just helping it to happen faster. If we will not give attentions to these things then ICE Age is not far. To save this world and save our lives we need to stop this thing now or never. strict actions should be taken for those who release the harmful gases into the atmosphere.
