I think its unbelievably wonderful. I can understand how you do not feel like a "gramma" yet. I sure wouldn't if my son gave me the same news!!!! Guess I do not FEEL OLD!!! Praying that mom and baby have a safe pregnancy journey together!

Awwwwww, how wonderful!! When I first heard I was going to be a Gramma 4 years ago I was soooooo happy! I remember being excited when I had my kids, but being a Gramma is one of life's real joys! I just found out the other day that my other daughter is going to have her first baby the end of this summer. Now I get to be doubly blessed! Congratulations!

Being a granma for the first is the most exciting thing that can happen to you. I am a 9 time grandma and I wouldn't change it for the world. But that first one is so special just as it is with your first born child. You just can't imagine how wonderful the experience is until it happens to you. You get to hold and spoil this little baby then when it crys or needs changed you can give it back. You don't have to get up in the middle of the night. when they get on your nerves you can leave or send them home. but at the same time they give the sweetest kisses that ever there was. Not only that when they get to be teenager you get to see the pay backs for when your kids were teenagers.

As young as you are you should live to see them. I'm still looking foreward to them with my daughter. Her girls are 11 & 13 They are the ones that give the best pay back. Thanks for the best response
