Memorable childhood memory

Recently, my brother called me to tell me how an incident had brought up an old childhood memory. One where I had, as the older sibling, tried to scare him. I was suprised that he still had that memory after all these years. That got me thinking on how certain things that happen when we are young can change or effect our lives. What is your most memorable childhood memory (either good or bad), and how has it impacted your outlook on life?
