By making money, don't most here mean Free opportunities?

I have seen numerous threads about making money online. That is fine. But it is amazing the number of scams geared toward those who want a free buck without putting some work in. I am NOT talking about MyLot, as they time you spend here really isn't worth the payout, it's just a fun place and site. I am talking about the get rich quick schemes, the shady business opps and the like. Don't most people avoid those type of deals or are many of us getting scammed and learning by bad experiences? And yes, I am participating in a program to raise money online for a business, but I have actually paid money into that program and have gotten way more out than I put in. So it doesn't qualify as a scam.
