Languages that most influenced Portuguese
Portuguese was born from Latin and evolved by borrowing words from many other languages.
Which are the languages that most influenced Portuguese?I did not research it, but I think my guess is very close to the true.
1. Latin
2. Greek
3. French
4. English
5. Arabic
In Brazil the native indian languages would be in 3rd or 4th place.
Does anyone know more about it? Please, let me know if I'm wrong.
