At length and come away from the conversation with the distinct impression that you were just talking to an idiot?

Yes, that has happened to me before, just recently as a matter of fact. I think I would have done better just talking to my cat, LOL!

does the cat answer back? I understand exactly how you feel. You feel like you have just wasted your time and your mind right?

Yeah, for a minute you start wondering if possibly you were not explaining yourself properly, then you start wondering if you are the idiot! but then you come back around to them being an idiot.

hi ,I'm new to my lot but I feel your pain.I am an avon rep ,I was calling some people that signed on the mailing list to learn more about becoming reps.I had 6 numbers ,4 of them hung up on me when I was talking , right in the middle.the 2 others responded first that they were the person I'm looking for , but then said that it's the sitter or the cousin!!! I don't appreciate people like that ..why signup at all from the beginning

Absolutely.... my sister and her boyfriend had just had a nasty fight...anyways i dont think her boyfriend is really the full quid... my sister asked me if i could maybe talk to him and maybe put some sense in to his thick head ....i agreed to ,anyways i sat him down and we spoke for like about 3 hours... he agreed, and understood ect..when i walked away im sure he had no clue as to what i was talking about... i sat down and really thought about some of his comments... but me being polite just let it go during our discussion...he truely is an idiot..your probably saying why? well ...its simple...he thinks its ok to have affairs with other women...he truely didnt see anything wrong with it... he portrayed himself as innocent and thought he was doing no wrong....when i spoke to my sister about this, her reply was that he had some sort of brain injury from early child hood.... now im sitting back thinking ...hmm which one is the idiot now....him or her?

The question was whether or not you felt like you were just speaking to an idiot.
