What are your idea of Acts of Kindness? If you practice this, how often on a monthly basis?
I find that simply just smiling and saying hi to elderly people out shopping really makes them do a double take.
I enjoy helping elderly people when they are shopping and is obvious that they can not see very well.
I like to hide small presents in places that I know someone I like will find them when I am not around.
I practice acts of kindness as often as I see the opportunity to do so. Volunteering is a really good way to contribute to a needy cause and it make you feel really good too.

Every day I try to be of some help to anybody...another child, a stranger stuck in the street, a homeless person on the corner, an elderly person going into the same store as I, the girl scouts that sit outside the grocery store, a neighbor in need and/or the lady at my favorite sandwich shop. These are all examples. My neighbors especially they have even asked to borrow my shower. That was unusal but I let them cause they were good neighbors, otherwise I wouldn't let helping involve my own space.

Thank you for your response! There is never a shortage of where we can offer our help. It is nice to contribute. There is a line however between graciousness and being taken advantage of that I have found. We have to draw some of them. Such as you have mentioned "involve in my own space". A good rule of thumb, under most circumstances.

I try to do at least one thing a day. Sometimes though it's hard to do - esp when I don't go out much :) But I love doing nice things for my husband and family. I would love to volunteer sometime. I would love to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity sometime. I try to donate money to good charities as well.
