Starting again later in life, where do you begin and how do you meet a woman your age and then what?

I am 42, recently divorced and like you had to start all over again. I met a great man online, but it may not be for everyone. You have to really use your head. I am not into the bar scenes, and I live in a very small town, so I did not have a lot of options. Good luck to you.
