I have just visited Langkawi. Great town but slight disappointment in terms of the beaches. Redang is still the best. Langkawi is great for it's duty free status so stock up on your chocolates and booze!!

It really depends on the type of landscape you are looking. Beaches, cave, padddy field, island hopping or mountain

poor me..although im a malaysian..but i never been in langkawi island..hope i get a chance to go there someday..since it's a legendary island o thought to go there is top priority compared to other island in malaysia..im on my way to go there..
