How many credit cards do you have? Do know how they work? I can't stand when i'm inline at department stores and they ask, "would you like to save 10% off your entire purchase by applying for our store card?" And then the person all excited, says yes!! And 10 years later they have tons of debt! Those cards are so evil!! But I do have like $1000 in one card and only have 300 used!

We don't have a credit card, if we can't pay cash for it we really don't need it. Years back I got into debt for plastic money and I said never again...We have Credit/Debit card, but you have to have the money in the bank to use it. What is really up setting is the new cards today have a high interest rate on them so you you can't pay the bill in full you get tagged big time on interest. Then heaven forbit your late with a payment. Some charge as high as $35.00 late fee... We can't see having one..Like you said, "Those cards are Evil"

Do you have a house? If you haven't used any credit to build you're credit, you might have a really high intrest rate! Just wondering.

I have 2 credit cards, one I pay and one my husband pays... the one I pay I use occasionally for small things, the one my husband pays... well I use it a little more, lol. But he doesn't care he got it for me so that I could buy whatever I want without asking him for money, so why not? He pays it off as soon as the bill comes in so he doesn't pay interest on it.

If you pay the entire balance off each month there is no interest. As far as paying the bills...it's complicated, I'm not going to try to explain. It just has to do with owning a business and tax write offs.

I personally am not a big fan of having a credit card. I have never had one. I've thought of getting one but never went through with doing so. But my other half has & ended up getting himself caught up in having to pay a lot of debt off. So now we've thought of getting a credit card just in-case we may want to rent a car, among other things.. But I know if we we're to get one he'd hand it to me because he knows I am good with money & wouldn't allow us to use it on a regular basis. But I feel in away that if you pay your balance on your credit card every month.. That the card is almost basically free. I think the problem people have is they spend more than they can afford. I think if one is to have a credit card that you should only spend what you can afford instead of going crazy with it. I know I'd have a limit on mine & wouldn't allow myself to go over that limit. I don't know I'd much rather pay with cash up front then having to turn to using a credit card. I think it becomes a bad habit for to many people. And I don't want to end up going in to debt. Though I know I don't get tempted all to often & can control my spending habits. But I agree for the most part credit cards can be evil! But I know that I'd only spend what I could afford to pay off. And I think if people did that then they wouldn't be having to pay debt off. But we all sometimes get ourselves in some rather sticky situations. But everything is a learning experience in the long run!

If you don't have one how will you build your credit? Yeah, it's hard to get rid of debt, but his credit must be good if you always paid it on time. the card will be free if there's no intrest! I like to write down what i spend and make sure i have enough money. just like our checking account. I also sometimes call right after I make a purchase, so that intrest won't apply!! Some people need credit cards to live! Yes, they are evil! But think about getting one if you don't have good credit, I also recommend checking your credit score and report! GOOD LUCK!

They're good to have for emergencies. But, you got to make sure you got the discipline to use them only for that lol. And yes, that always irritates me when they ask that. I always say, nah you won't give me one :) Usually shuts them up real quick lol.

I think credit cards are only evil if you are not able to pay them It's a matter of responsibility that if you acquire one it doesn't mean that you have to spend a lot that's why they applied a certain credit limit. For now I don't have a problem about credit cards because I don't hvae one. I wanted to just to experience having it on your wallet and buying some stuffs without limits but then the use of ATM cards are more cheaper. You'll never had bank debts if you choose to use ATM cards so I sticked to it and as of now I don't have problems with credit cards.

IT DEPENDS ON AN PERSON HOW HE OR SHE USES CREDIT CARD. BUT STILL FOR MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE I DO THINK CREDIT CARDS SHOULD NOT ENTER THEIR LIFE AS THEY CAN REALLY DISTURB THE PEACE OF MIND. TAKE MY EXAMPLE I OWE TEN CARDS AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO COME OUT OF IT, JUST ANOTHER TIME I AM MORE INVOLVED WITH IT WITH SOME OFFER BY THE BANKER.

i have never used credit cards. i think they get more people in trouble than they help. learn to live w/out things u don't need learn to wait till u have the money to buy things instead of using cards.
