does anybody quit smoking sucessfully

my brother is chain smoker.he will always make false promises that he will will quit smoking as soon as possible.he don't live up to the word.does this happens with every person who do smoking?

My wife quit smoking. She had hypnotherapy which didn't make her want stop smoking but increased her willpower to stop. She only needed one session and she hasn't smoked since and that was 3 years ago. Good luck to your brother.
