From where I come from, thrift shops are sprouting like mad. They sell everything from used shoes, dresses, books, pants and name it, they have it. Signature items hunters are growing too. Some people don't like the idea of using something that other people have used before, doesn't sound healthy. Do you find any problem with this? You don't only get a signature item but get them at a real fraction of the cost of buying a new one.

We don't care about name brands or signature like you state. We buy used alot and if there seems to be a questions as to cleanliness we just wash it. We save money and spend it more elsewhere that it is really needed. We never worry about shrinkage since the item probably was washed before anyway. It would be like not wearing your own clothes once you wear and wash them I think. Take advantage of those shops and you will be surprised at how much money you can save.
