Detroit's recent show on new concept cars just shows how serious Detroits big three are. A lot of hype about new technology and fuel efficient vehicles coming, but wait thats in 10 years according to GM CEO's. No wonder folks are buying Toyota and Honda. They alread have cars in show rooms that meet most of these goals. In fact several import manufacturer's have. So what give's Detroit? Where are the electric vehicles you promised dacades ago? The EV's from 80's and 90's that got government grants to develop? And what happen to all the government grants for alternative fuel from grain that has been paid out since 1978.
