I am not sure that girls / women are getting
more responses . But some members have said
this before that some male members are
pretending like females to get more responses .
And they are also putting the female images
as Avatar ; uploading females' images ...
if it is true , I do not know the reasons
behind this ...

I respond to interesting topics only .
The images are turned off on my Browser
to save the bandwidth . I donot know if
the Avatar is of male or female ...
Actually , I have been trying to help the
new members to provide a little guidance .
And also I have been trying to respond to
the old topics with a few or no responses .

I also agree lots of male guys put the picture of females and ask questions. One of the reason I think is around 60% males likes to respond to the girl's questions than the males. Also, some girls also responds to girl's post only. This might the reason I think girls are getting more response. The attraction to female makes some boys to respond more to the girl's questions. Another thing might be boys wanted to make friends with the girls.

I don't think so. Because i replied to every topic i've seen good. I didn't see if the topic was started by a girl or boy. It doesn't affect me.

I'm curious as to how people can tell someone's gender just by their username or avatar. Unless it's very obvious. And even then, a lot of people lie about gender online. Men will see avatars of attractive women and just assume. And half of them are probably other men just using female avatars to try and get more responses. It's insane.

Unfortunately it's a stupid trick which seems to be used by some users here.
I have noticed that when you ask an interesting question where you ask for personal advice about sentimental things, women are the most to reply and you get quite a lot of replies.

Though I have not noticed that but if that is the case then I would say it's only natural. Girls get more attention whether they are offline or online. So that's good if you are a girl. But I request you to check who gets more quality responses boys or girls? That will be more interesting to know. I want to see another post like Why _____ get more quality response in myLot? It's time who will tell who will fill up the blanks.

I didn't quite actually notice that girls get more response then guys. But if you have said that then it might be true. I have no idea why this happens. But I think that it's because girls topic are more interesting to all the people. Or maybe to guys who like to discuss that topics. I don't know but i guess that's the reason.

I didn't notice that. I usually just pick those topics I'm interested to read, and I'll only respond if I have something to say. I don't know the gender of posting the discussions, it's hard to guess whether it's a man or woman from the nickname, right?

I also feel the same. I think that many of the guys out there are just shy to prove that they are actually guys and just go under cover as girls just to seek attraction.
