who is better ..sachin..lara..or..ponting and why

I think without doubt Lara is the best by far among the three. First of all I am not under estimating other two people's talent ,ofcourse both sachin and pointing are immensly talented.But when all three are in song we can see lara as the most impressive to watch and pionting always had less pressure when he goes out to bat as he always sure that some one else will take charge if he gets out and always plays his natural game. Incase of sachin he scores heavy runs but often disappoints when comes to big game and he dont have the ability to play huge innings as his higest score is 241 only.His brilliance against all attacks in all conditions is yet susceptable. But lara thrived on pressure he dominates the attack and when is on song then god only can save the opponent. He is a complete cricketer who can score quick runs ,play long inngs , Have a solid defense and is genius in his stroke play. The number of match he is alone responsible for win is qiute a lot. and he has the record of, Highest First class score: 501 notout Highest Test score: 400 notout recently scored hundred in one session against pakistan and went on to score double hundred. There are many facts to prove my comment but i cannot remember all so let other say a few...

Ponting and lara both are good but sachin is best among all . i love sachin

Tendulkar is no longer the batsman he was in his twenties. Nowadays he has to struggle for every run and his strike rate is far below the current average of leading batsman in Tests like Ponting. Anything below 70 per 100 balls faced is a poor strike rate in modern days. Tendulkar makes the same mistake like hanging his bat to balls pitched outside the off stump. His soft dismissals are increasing. He seems to have lost the guts for runs of records. In the Indian context he can fail in 5 innings but make a good score in the 6th to retain his place. I do not expect him to get more than three more centuries for the rest of his playing years. He may not be even able to overhaul Steve Waugh's record for most number of runs in a career. Ponting plays a far better game than tendulkar. He is also unusually lucky ih that umpires gives him lives in many innings besides the fielders. An analysis of his 100s will reveal this. But this factor cannot conceal the fact that Ponting is really a great batsman and punishes the opposition for even a single dropped chance or umpiring favours. Tendulkar would soon be eclipsed by the Australian in terms of runs and centuries and he will just sink into oblivion.

Sachin.In every aspect of cricket he made his mark.I have never seen any person facing enormous amount of pressure, and holding the spirit of their people, except sachin.He is mentally stronger than any cricketer in this world.Lara on the other hand is having lots of talent, but his inconsistency tells the story. Ponting is great and he has to prove himself more to reach the levels of great legends like sachin and lara. SACHIN is a GENIUS LARA is a WIZARD and PONTING is GREAT..

i think it is sachin because he has help india in wining many matches. his records speak for him especially in one dayer no one can break his record in one day international.

i think sachin is better. he has a upheld standard by which he can manage any crucial situation. he has the capability to strenghten the team at any moment. nodoubt he is a good cricketer with a global reputation.

it is better not to compare sachin, lara or ponting as they are all have different styles of batting, but as the discussion has come up, i would say that Sachin is better than the other two any day, and his records prove and substantiate the fact.
