Why do we give gifts on Christmas Day and not on Three Kings?

who are the three kings? christmas day we should provide our love to others jesus told like that love every one.

the three kings offered gifts to the infant jesus. they weren't exactly kings, but wise men in the persons of melchor, gaspar and baltazar. the feast of the three kings signals the end of the christmas season.
