Dhoni doesnt seem to be performing like the way he used when he was new in the team?Do you think he has lost his agresiveness or is he being more responsible?

yes dhoni is underperforming. after the promise he had shown when he burst onto the international arena, he has been a huge underperformer. dinesh karthick has done exceptionally well both as a keeper and batsman. probably he was taking his place for granted. good to see nice competition in the wicketkeeper department.

in no way is dhoni under performing... its just that he started his career with such a bang that u expect too much from him... he has even adjusted to playing test cricket by being a bit cautious and hitting the bad ball... he is a very good player and also improving his keeping which was not the best in the beginning

You mean to say that he has become more responsible?Yeah i agree with you.But i think he can be agressive and at the same time be responsible.Responsible means that you have to deliver what you are expected to.

the performance of dhoni has gone down drastically...the reason may be that he has started thinking as if he is permanent member of the indian cricket team and he would be there in the team even if he is not performing..

hey sorry to just distract you but you know what i would like to say that now india is at the peak of its what we say bad form and it is not only that any of the one person is responsible for it. whether the qestion is: Q.should sourav be made the captain of the team? Q.is sourav giving the team what people were expecting after his come back? Q.sehwag is not playing good? Q.tendulkar out of form? Q.dravid took this or that decision wrong? Q.the coach is not good? Q.the coach is more a politician? Q.wrong decision of the board of taking this bowler in the team whereas the other one was required? Q.coach taking gangully case personal? ...... and many mre do not you people think that all what is happening is not good and what these people are doing is just decreasing their world cup chances? do not you think that it is not the problem with one person whole team is responsible? wrong strategies, bad form... what is this is this what indian team has to show to the world that we are the one?

Ya right now his performance is not good but he is a good player. If he has given a proper position and guidlines he ca n perform well.

My friend,a good player performs in any position. And more over in south africa he came in to bat before 30 overs in almost evry match. But there was only one half century i guess. He is a good player but he inot performing to his potential.

Dhoni really out of form. I think Dhoni should be given more chances. Most probably after couple of net session and with the matches against Westindies and Srilanka Dhoni will come back to form. I like the aggresiveness of Dhoni. I think he should be allowed to play his natural game. Also, the tens and twenties will never win match. I think he should try to get little more responsible and try to convert his small scores into huge 100s and 50s. I think more exposure he gets the better player he becomes. With more experience he will certainly will become more mature player and will try to get the big 50s and the 100s.

Frankly speaking, I find him doing his job well. He comes down the order so there is usually nothing much left for him to captitalize over. However, seeing the batting performances what he had in SA, he has done fairly well.

give him a chance up the order and he will show you his capability he is meant to be higher up the order
