is cooking meant only for women?

That's a big no no. I think cooking is the basic skill that everyone should know. Its not to impress somebody but to be able share responsibility in the kitchen whoever you are with. At least if you know how to cook you'll be able to be proud of yourself.

as far as coooking goes. anyone can do it, men or women, though in the early days from the time where men are dominant than women(grandpa and grandma's days), its the womens job to do cooking for the men. but hey! it's the new age darling, were equality between men and women are observed. I have to agree with your friend, sometimes a man who knows how to cook knows to take care of himself, its a good plus don't cha think?

no i don't because its eqaul to men and women but why can't we just share the duties from the kitchen why can't one cook and then other clean up and the reverse it
