I'm talking about the time trap thing, that movies like "The Lake House" imply. Think about it for a second: in "The Lake House", how could she have saved him, how could he have come to see her in the last part of the movie? Because if she had really saved him, he wouldn't have died in the first place and he could have come to her in that night at the restaurant!!

The idea is to suspend belief and enjoy the romance and the movie. You can pick just about any movie apart if you think about it hard enough. I mean, Spiderman? Movies are fantasy and meant to be enjoyed. If you want reality and realism, you need to watch a documentary.

I think its what the movie wants to imply. That in that Lake House there is a mystery,a magic, and a love thats waiting to be found and fulfilled for a long time. I really don't think why it ended that way. I'm just happy that for the long period of time, agonized waiting, and longing they are already together.
