Taco Soup

This is so yummy. I make this for my family and we love it.
Taco Soup
2 lbs. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto's
1 can corn
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Brown meat and onions together. Drain if needed and then add all ingredients together (do not drain off the juice). Cook on low for several hours or simmer all day in a crock pot.
Great served with grated cheese, sour cream, and taco chips.

that sounds delicious! I'm getting hungry now.
We make something similar, except I use corn meal to make a crust and then pour the taco meat/ bean mix into it and bake it -- it turns out like a tamale pie. (Oh I also use refried beans instead of regular beans)

Im a huge fan of tacos. And this just gives me another way to eat them lol. I will be trying this as soon as I get to the store.

Cool!! I like taco's too and so does my hubby. And we both love this soup. We crush up tortilla chips and put the soup on that and then put cheese and sour cream on top. Yummy, so good!!

This sounds great! Spicy, but different. I love spicy food, hubby can live without it. My kids will love this soup. Easy to make and spicy too.

Thanks for the recipe, it sure sounds tempting. I'll add it to my "to cook" recipes list, MyLot seems to be an endless source of good recipes, thankfully!
