Do you believe in Insurance? And why?

Honestly, to have an insurance wether it is a car insurance, home insurance, life/health insurance, etc. or any other ones are very convenient for you, your health and benefits. Personal insurances are sometimes more expenssive than insurances corporate companies offer to its employees. Why?Well because obviously for a bigger group or for many people, the insurance company gives out better quotes/deals, for the reason that there are more people. More people equals more revernue for the insurance companies equals lower insurance price for us to pay. You could choose to have your own insurance, but the chances that you pay more for it will be higher. I have life/health insurance, car insurance(obviously)and home insurance, all in one package that my company that I work at helped me out with for a great price. I believe in them and they cover me very well with no headaches. Do you have and believe in Insurances? Why or why not? What are they?
