Does such a thing exsist? My husband and I have been sharing a car for what feels like forever. We have the money to buy a used "new to us" car for him. However, all the cars he likes are 2-door cars that seem to cost a small fortune even used. He orginally wanted a 2002 Eclipse, but we can't find one. Now he has his sights set on a Celica which are priced worse than the Ecplise. Is there any decent 2 door car that won't carry a huge monthly note and high insurance bills?

Accords are pretty expensive. Plus if he got an Accord I would drive it all of the time lOL

First of all congradulations, I guess you got past the ring pillow issue. Well for your part of town I always recommend a p/u/ truck for people especially if they don't have one yet. Cars are for rich people. Think about this, are you rich enough to be able to have a car new or used that can't make money for you? A truck is like a shotgun, it has many different uses. And yet it can be made sporty of comfortable and still help provide an extra or primary income when need be.

At one point we both had pick up trucks. We sold his because it was constantly being repaired. Mine was totaled in an accident and was replaced by the car since we are always driving around people. We aren't interested in another truck. Since this is his car, he gets to sort of decide what he wants. Since both of us have expensive items we drive around on a regular basis we really both need a car for the trunk. Plus, we need to cars that can carry at least 3 people just in case one of the cars has to go into the shop.
