Color fast red crochet thread?

I made 4 matching Christmas doilies only to have the red bleed when I wet them down to block them, so it ruined all the work I'd put in. I had used South Maid's red crochet thread. Can someone reccommend a color fast red thread for future projects? Thanks!

I can't recommend a thread but I never blocked a doily in all the years that I have been crocheting. I know alot of people who do but my doilies for some reason don't need to be blocked. I do however spray a stiffner on them.
