What time do you have dinner?

Is 5pm too early? I often think it is. Especially if you have kids, because by 7pm they are hungry again. What is your normal dinner time?

On school days the kids have 2 dinners, the first one being something small and hot when they come home from school @ about 2.30pm, Then we have our family dinner about 6pm but yes there hungry again within a hour or two. Normally they attack cereal, yogurts or fruit then.

ahhh...good idea....my kids sometimes cry because they are hungry right before going to bed and i feel that its a habit and sometimes i send them off to bed that way....i feel so terrible. I think that a bowl of cereal might not be too bad, but am i creating a bad habit for them to eat right before bedtime? isnt that a good way for them to gain weight as they get older?

We take dinner in between 8pm to 8:30pm. If I take dinner early, again I feel hungry at night:).

I take my dinner at 8pm normally. But it all depends upon when i am hungry. I had read somewhere in a book that we should take the dinner 3 hours before we go to bed at night.

5pm is "snack time" for me. I usually have dinner at 8pm on weekdays, and around 7pm on weekends.

I take dinner at 11:30 p.m. each day. My family members between 10:30 to 11:0 pm. I think in Asian countries people take dinner late and in our country more late. Americans take dinner too early.

I am not usually home for dinner. On Wednesdays, I am home and make dinner for my husband and myself around 6. When I am at work, I take my dinner break around 8. That is actually my lunch though since I eat breakfast at 1pm. Dinner is when I get home at midnight. When I was little, dinner was at 5:30.
