I always prefer to grow my plants from seeds because it is cheap and i love to watch them grow. Cactus is my favourite. How about you?

Oh, you should try it man. But take note that it will take a long time to grow from seed. Mine are just 3cm tall and they are a year old!

I too like to grow cactus in my garden. They add a different charm to the garden. But i havent yet tried to grow them from seeds. It might a lot of time for them to grow, as they are really very slow growers. I dont think these seeds are available so freely at all places. If i am able to lay my hands on them i would really love to grow them from seeds as this way of growing plants from seeds is really enjoyable.

I love cactus but it is hard to find seeds where I live. But I have bought several small plats and they have grown so big but then they got killed by some freezing rain. I thought I had them protected enough can you tell me what to do to protect them from the elements during the winter. Thanks for the post.

I like cactus and have a few plants, I'm not knowledgeable about the names, I bought some and got others from friends, never tried it from seeds but was able to multiply some by leaves cut outs and shoots that comes from the soil under it.

Hi Cactus lover, I do like cactus. But I dont grow this plant in my house because in India in my region it is not considered good to have cactus at home. But I do admire its beauty a lot.
