has anybody ever had a situation on mylot where you started a discussion and when you go to take a look at the responses, you find that someone has given you a rude or slightly offensive response..then you find out that this person is a "friend" of yours? I just had that happen..the thing is, I responded to the discussions this person started with respect and this is what I get in return? Some people...

hmmm, i dunno. if it was me i'm sorry, i didn't mean to sound rude. sometimes when people write on the computer, they do not realize how rude they may sound to other people even if they didn't mean too.

no it wasn't you..it was a person that I helped a lot here..he said something about gay men and seeing as though my best friend/roomate is a gay man, he upset me..so I removed him from my list and I don't deal with his discussions..

some people dont bother to read back what they wright, so may not realise what they have written may sound rude. I wouldnt stress out over it, you can always just press the delete button on your friend, or ask what they ment by their comment.

It's not really something that bothers me. What bothers me more are the jackholes who reply with two word irrelevent answers. Is there anything more infuriating than coming to your thread and reading a "no comment" or "i have nothing to say"? Not in my travels. I mean, if you're going to post a stupid spam comment, at least share some sort of opinion, like "i agree", don't just have nothing to say!
