Which is the best Firewall according to you. Please mension why do you think so. Also mension whether it is a freeware or not.
I am using Zone Alarm from ZoneLabs.Its free and provides a cvery good protection. It also comes in a paid version where you get more features like Spyware remover etc. You can update your Zone Alarm even if you are using a free version.

i think that for good enterprises the cisco's pix firewall is the best. it is one which is a hacker's nightmare as it is very difficult to break through into a system which is protected using the pix firewall. as of the home usage i use the AVG's firewall and i think it is the bestand it protects the system very well.

The best is F-secures firewall it has about everything in that software bundle. go to look at www.f-secure.com, they update often.
I think taht zonealarm, symatect, etc what ever those are. they all are not so good as f-secure. many companies uses it and it comes in finland with some ISP as a service and they use only f-secure as their internet security. go to webstie and learn more :)

i don't use any firewall because windows xp has a built in firewall

The firewall in windows xp is very poor, i think. Thats why I am using Zone Alarm

I have also tried a firewall that comes with BitDefender Internet Security. You can download it for trying for 30 days from www.bitdefender.com. It is also really good. As they say you can "Secure your every bit".

I use zone Alarm too. I choosed it because it is free and other persons suggested it to me.
I didn't have any problems since I started using it, many friends of me use it too. So I think it is good!
