Can you keep eye contact with the person you love when you meet for first time?

Suppose you are in love with some one and you haven't revealed your intensions to her/him and when you meet that person anytime, can you keep direct eye contact with that person while talking? would you be nervous while keeping direct eye contact with that person whom you love....

when i met him well he tryed he best to have an eye contact but i felt no so comfi....as it was the 1st time totaly-eye contact tho later it was fine!

Yes, it is definitely more difficult to keep an close eye contact with the person you love for sure and this can be proved if you ask number of peopel who are involved in love or you can even see somebody talking to someone for the first time and they shift their eyes if they are really in love with that person...
