When you are arranging your holidays, do you use a travel agent, or do you do it all yourself onlne?

I love doing it all myself. I really enjoy the excitement of trying to find the cheapest flight I can, then researching places to stay, using various websites.
Then I'm always fascinated to see how it actually turns out when I get there.
So far, I've never been disappointed. Some things may not have been exactly what I was expecting but then that's half the adventure.
I can barely remember what it was like to have to book a holiday from a brochure, and relying on a travel agent to tell you what they thought would suit you. It's like handing over one of the most important parts of your life to a complete stranger!

I do. I always use either travelbag or expedia to book airline tickets. Quite often book hotels directly by email or phone after doing online research.

I do it myself if I am staying in my own country. If I were to leave it, I would most likely use a travel agent.
