The delicate act of balancing our inflow and outflow determines what we become later in life,if you are earning ten dollars and spending seven dollars and saving three dollars then you have the potential of getting rich but if you earn ten dollars and you spend ten or eleven dollars then you are heading for disaster, you can't get rich that way,so getting rich is not a product of keeping 100% all that we earned No,it is a product of carefully planning our lives to fit the inflow pattern of our income

As for me, being thrift or spending less is the best way to be rich. However, no matter how you earn more money without thriftiness still you won't get rich. Being thrifty is also one way of organizing and differentiating the things you want from the things that you need. Prioritiy is also a big help in making someone rich.

I think the 'Rich' word refers to how much you have stored and never refers to how much you spend. So I feel by earning more one can be called a rich man but not by spending less.

I think that th best way is to earn much much more,as much as you can but to spend less at the same time, coz if u r earning not much and spending much less, than u can not be rich, and only if u r earning much and spending less, then that is for sure that you will be rich.

I think spending less is definitely the path to financial freedom. If you don't get in the practice of spending less it wont matter how much you earn you will always manage to spend it all.
