Is downloading the only way to enjoy your favourite TV shows?

With TV shows often airing months, user talks about the pros and cons of downloading episodes. How long will it be before we get rid of the TV receiver to connect our PCs up and go 'on demand'?

no , its when you have no other option , but use a t v vtner card instead , and then there is microsoft windows media center edition , you can record them and watch them whenever you feel like.

I dont download my favorite tv shows, I just watch them in youtube.com
