why people have over confidence?Is it good

I saw many people who have over confidence,if we have self confidence then it's ok but people having overconfidence it is not good.

if u get anything in excess then u loose ur mind ... thats over confidence n its very harmful for humans....

i always like that person who have self-confidence but over confidence is always bad of everyone . Due to over confidence he /she donot want to know the exact picture of anythings thatwhy some time they suffer from problem .

Well excess of anything is bad. One should be confident in what he is doing. But overconfidence leads to arrogance and ultimately failure. An overconfident person does not listen to others although sometimes others advice is useful.
