Does everybody need a friend?

Though we are capable of surviving a solitary existance, we are not, by nature, solitary people. We all need someone, deserve someone and are better off with someone. That someone can be a friend, spouse, companion, child, etc. We all need someone we can share with who can return that sharing and also with who to have conversations.
