I would like to create a website&make$$ w/affiliates dont know where 2 start

I am extremly computer literate I understand the affiliate concept but I never explored creating a personal website. When I was making money online it was through e-bay when I lived with my ex. I loved doing the auctions but our account was linked to his banking so when I left I lost my user account all my feedback GONE. It sux but small price to pay in the end. Between auctions I researched alot online I wrote an ebook on how to make $$ on ebay (sold it daily) I have also mastered the ability to find people (like netdetective info but better)know of tons of free sites. I would like to create a page based on either subjuct dont know where to look and dont have the time to surf like I did in the ebay days. If u help me and I use a site u recommended I will post ur mylot link or any other one u profit from on my page in return. I am not cutting my own throat I dont intend on profiting by posting here just by learning THANX
