Should Pluto be a planet again?

I grew up knowing Pluto as a planet, and it is going to be weird to teach my children that it is not one anymore. Why do we have to change something that is already in place and teach for so many years?

It does suck having to learn something that condradicts years of learning. However, it does not fall into the classification of a planet and we would not want to teach hypocracy if we know about it.

Well, since I heard it wasn't a planet I've been thinking why not blow it up! Sure it would cost alot, but dont you think that would be fun lool... No, I really liked Pluto as a planet, it was like the little brother of the solar system... Way out there by himself, nobody really pays attention to him!

Yeah, it is going to suck having to change all that. I will feel old telling my kids, back in my day, Pluto was a planet. My kids will be like, what is Pluto and why did they even consider it a planet? As well, I guess as far as space goes, it will be an ever changing thing, so we will have to be ready for at all times.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planets It seems that Pluto is a dwarf planet and that is not considered to be an official planet. Well if man doesn't think it qualifies then I think it would be silly to say that it is a planet if it really isn't. I don't think schools will replace books just because of pluto not being a planet.
