Week eyesight!

The life of a normal eyesight was never so short lived in the earlier times!
Everybody seems to wear either a spectacle or contact lenses today.
Young adults, teenagers and now even small kids are found wearing one.
what can be the most suitable reason for this?
i personally also wear spectacles, and can surely say that I am the case of excessive computer usage!

i don't have week eyesight but water keeps flowing from eyes plz help.

Yes, I agree that there are many more people wearing glasses now than in the past. Perhaps everyone can afford to own a television set and a computer at home now than before. Also, people are better educated now and excessive reading , especially in dim lights, can cause a deterioration in eyesight. Our living space is also getting smaller and more congested and it's not possible to see very far away with houses blocking our view. Therefore our eyes muscles are not able to relax appropriately.
