i think he has some power to destroy THE DEMON
thats why he (the demon) is after them....what ur point of view

Yellow-eye Demon kills all children with special power.. dean is one of them who survived.
This power shoul be used against the demon.. but only dean power is not enought imho.

The demon wants to use Sam, he isn't concerned with Sam killing him. Besides I don't see how seeing the future could kill someone outright.
