Apple announces three-in-one iPhone

Apple Computer chairman Steve Jobs announced the device, which combines the functions of a cell phone, music and video player, and Web access in one device, in his keynote speech at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco on Tuesday morning, January 9th. The device will be available in June 2007. Cingular will be the exclusive service provider for at least the first few years.

Ive just watched a video on the website gizmodo about the new iphone , it looks great, touch screen intergrated camera, emailing. its a very sleek looking phone. I cant wait to get my hands on one. cheers

It sounds pretty cool, but of course the devil is in the details. I'd be curious to see how the battery life is in a device that does so many things, for one thing.

This is all marketing policy my friend. Making new inventions and then trying to bcome the market leader. Appel computers have literally killed the walkman market which was dominated by Sony. Thnx for sharing this information on mylot.
