What type of punishment do you think is best?

Do you use time0 out grounding or spanking? For younger children which do you think works best? WHya do you think your way is the right way?

it depends on the age, and what they are doing. for young children i say from 31/2 to 6, time out and a spanking depending on what they have done works. although you must tell them why they are getting in trouble. if your lil one is writing on the walls and you told them twice before that doing so is not a good thing, thing a time out is good. for older children time out and spankings from my experience don't work that well. taking things away work much better. for any age, warnings are a must.
