Well, the flowers, the candles and the beaches have gone out the window. However, we still take walks (around the village), we tell each other 'I love you', we dine out on special occasions and I receive the odd box of chocolates if I drop gentle hints (like moan).

Just this morning. I told my husband that I love him and gave him a back rub before he had to get ready to go to work.
Romance doesn't always have to be something extravagant. A sweet hug, an unexpected kiss, a phone call to work just to tell him you love him, or dirty talk in the ear while grocery shopping. Ok yeah, I reckon I have a bit of a strange way of being romantic at times, but hey works for him! LOL

i am in a long distance relationship for 9 months now. and it's hard when you're oceans apart. we do chat everyday atleast for two hours or more. but that's not really romantic, huh?
well, my boyfriend came here in the philippines to visit me and my family last november of 2006. i spent the first week with him in a private beach. it was the most romantic week i have ever had in my entire life. we have the day to enjoy the beach together, and at night, we talk under the stars and the moon. we cook together and have fun watching movies togther. that's so romantic for me.
and yes, romance is still present in this world.

Yes I DO believe that romance is still very much alive. I tell my wife I love her everyday. It's not hard, just three simple words, but they go a very long way. All those other romantic things you mentioned I like to do on the spur of the moment. I mean just out of the blue I would buy her flowers or while driving just stop at a beach and get out and go for a walk. Surprise her with a candle lit dinner. Yes romance is very much alive!
