I have to tell you, this is my first book by Nicholas Sparks, I am reading Dear John, and I find it hard to put it down. I think I am going to be a great fan.

Nicholas Sparks best book is his first book. The Notebook was amazing from the first line to the last. I have read all of his books since, but none have struck a chord with me quiet as much as that one. If I had to pick a second favorite it would be A Walk to Remember. Among the worst of his are The Wedding and Message in a Bottle.

that's great. that's my favorite book, too. and my third choice is actually, message in a bottle.

for me, it would be "A Walk to Remember". I just loved the way he wrote it, with a little bit of comic relief here & there. And of how he ended the story in a manner which could be interpreted how you want it to be...

his best work for me is 'the notebook.' it's such a well-written story dealing with second chance and unconditional love. it gives readers hope that such a kind of love exists.

That is a really hard decision, but I would have to say true believer and notebook tie for first place. Then I think the guardian comes next. I love all of his books so far.
