how can people live without a cellularphones? and Yes, texting is one the reasons why we use these handheld phones. at earlier times we go to a date by just setting the date, time, and venue by an email or a phone call on a phone booth but now we can have a date with our boyfriends/girlfriends in just a text away a minute or an hour you will be together.... thanks for those good and smart people. But im sick and tired of those coming out of new models Ggggggggggrrrrrrrrr......

Guess what - some of us still do not have cell phones and do not want to have a cell phone. Cell phones are annoying and expensive. And what is really amazing is we are HAPPY without them, we do not need them no matter what the resto f you have been brainwashed to believe.

You got your cellphone when? And when you still didn't have a cellphone, how did you live? Definitely you lived! Is it then a surprise if people live without cellphones? I do not have a cellphone yet I live and many of us here in the Philippines do not have cellphones. I got a cellphone in 1996, model was still heavy before, no cellphone card yet (or I did not just use it), bills too long (every call recorded), I got tired of charging and when it was stolen, I was even grateful. People could live without cellphone although cellphones are handy and useful for those who have necessity and money.

Yes it certainly makes you wonder what we did without this technology. I was watching a program last night that showed how big they were when they first came out and it was hillarious to see. They showed one Harrison Ford movie where he had this huge cell phone. Really funny when you look back.

I personally hate cell phones. I own one for safety reasons such as if my jeep were to break down or if I got lost or god only knows what, but I don't use the text messaging service, I don't call my friends, and they only call me if they absolutly must. I don't see the point of glueing a phone to my ear when I already see my friends daily.

Before we are only using telephones and everything works out fine but these days I think people cannot live without mobile phones. Over the years there has been a special connection between people and their mobile phone. And yes you are abslutely right, models change so fast. Who knows one day we could be talking to a hollogram image.

I don't have one ... have never had one ... and do not want one. When I leave the house, I actually prefer NOT to be found. ...and there is nothing that cannot wait until I get home to check my messages. I didn't carry a pager back when they were popular either. Now ... if it was required by my career, I'd carry - but I wouldn't give the number out to anyone but family and very close friends. I'd just rather not be on the phone unless I have to be.

I've had a mobile phone for around 10 years .. I have had 4 phones in all .. my first was an analogue phone .. the second I had for 5 years and then it needed trading in for a newer model .. and I had the third for roughly 3 years when I lost it .. or at least I thought I had ... I spent around a month looking for it and then had to give in and I bought the cheapest phone I could find just £6 ... and guess what turned up within a week of getting the new phone .. yes .. my old phone .. sso now I have two phones ... But I only ever use my phone for emergencies .. I never switch it on unless I have to use it .. and I guess over the 10 years or so I've had a phone I have probably made about 6 calls ...

Speaking for myself, I've never owned one of those portable interruptions to life, and won't, unless absolutely necessary. Look out for the new Apple models, they do ipods as well.

oh now it's really hard to live without celphone for it is the main source of communication nowadays.but, there are also hazard using that, some are abusing its use.they are using it in nonsense matters. you're also right, there are new models coming but still of the same use.me, i dont prefer expensive celphone model, the one fitted and im used to use is better than any other.
