Does anyone have an openion about your or any of the ISP's? My time is up with msn and I don't think I want to re up with them. What service provider do you use and are you happy with them? Has anyone had a real problem with any? Oh and I have dial up if that makes a differnce. Thanks everyone!

At first you should tell where do u live. I am living in India, there are lots of ISPs. like BSNL, VSNL, Satyam, Sify, Reliance etc. If my guess is right then u r not Indian. Sorry I can't give u specific reply.

Well, it's hard to answer this without knowing where you live, & even inthe United States, there are all kinds of different providers in some areas in which service is not available in others.
In my area, I am on cable (Optimum Online). In the event that I lose cable-modem, I do have a spare ISP service called LIHQ (I think Long Island Internet Headquarters), but it's only available in Long Island or they'd have to make a long-distance call. I'm not sure if that's available in your area. Unless something happened that I don't know about, I can get MSN, AOL, I think Earthlink as dial-up. I never tried them. I don't have DSL available, but I think either verizon might be available in my area, or available very soon.

regarding of isp's here in the philippines. we have no reliable isp. and not very good, on my experience, i only got 40% of the total speed of my isp plan. and the worse is, i experience 2 months of no internet connection because of the isp poor service support, and they still charge me for the bill.

At this time I am using comcast and like it better than when we were with Qwest. Most companies will offer some kind of start up special, call around and ask if any in your area are running any kind of a special at this time. You can usually find one that has a good deal.

I have AT&T and like them. For some reason, I've had trouble with PC People and Net Zero charging my credit cards for service even though I don't use them!!!!! I've had to file fraud reports on these companies. So, steer clear of THOSE!

I have Verizon DSL, and really enjoy it. The speeds are good enough for me, and we got the bundle with phone and DirecTV satellite which works out pretty well.
