What is your favorite dog moment?

I've had five dogs in my life and each has given their share of memorable moments. My present had the most. One thing he likes to do is sit in the passenger seat upfront. When I stop at lights, He stares a moment straight ahead and turns his head slowly to the car alongside, picks up his ears, then looks back forward. I didn't teach him that one.

My favorite dog moment would have to be when me and my mother were sitting in the living room both of our dogs were outside and then all of a sudden the door opens and in walks our male dog. We had no clue that he knew how to open the door it scared the crap out of us but it was so funny! and still till this day he will let himself in the house when he thinks its time to come back in.

Our dogs will cuddle one minute then growl at each other the next. They never really fight they just make terrible noises at each other. One of them is a cleptomanic, one likes to eat as much of the time as possible. The other one is a yard patroler and shes a rat terrier so we say shes on rat patrol.

I have a rat terrier also. She is my favorite dog of all the dogs I have owned. We are working on getting her certified as a therapy dog. Rat patrol, that's cute...

My dog, chinnu, has given me a lott of wonderful memories. like rite now when he just woke up from a nap and is staring at me with his eyes all droopy.. he s a darling.. when he tears up stuff or does anything to annoy me.. i look at him and say BAD DOG CHINNU and he sits down in a corner and puts his paw on his nose and keeps lifting and dropping his paw in front of me untill i cool down.. and tht sight always makes me wanna give him a BIGG hug and a kiss..

I've never had a dog. But my grandma has always had a dog. We loved going to grandma's when we were younger so we could play with the dog. My dad never let us have any pets! Now, i'm married and my husband grew up with a dog and loved him, he's still alive and still lives at his house with his dad! Now he wants a puppy from his dog for our daughter! His favorite moment was when his dog had puppies and they looked like little fur balls! They would run up to the gate when someone would come and just jump all over them! So cute!

I taught my whippet to jump into my arms if I did a certain hand signal. Unfortunately the hand signal was a lot like pushing my long hair behind my ear, so sometimes I'd be in the front yard playing with the kids and push my hair back out of my face and suddenly I'd have a whippet flying up into my arms.

I like dogs very much. They are cute, obediant and loyal. Very nice to have them and play with them. I have a dog at home that jumps at me whenever I get back to my home. It licks my legs and love playing with me.

We had a wiener dog once that would jump at the doorknob when he wanted out. Right now, I have a beagle that will sit up and beg when she wants something or is completely confused (like, when you are trying to teach her a new trick) She will also wrap her paws around your arm when you pet her, like a hug. My black lab will get a treat or a chew or a bone and stand there wagging his tail and growl like he's telling you all about how great his treat is. Not a vicious growl, just a loud happy grumble. He follows you around like that until you acknowledge that he has the greatest toy on earth, then he goes to chew on it.

whenever i will ask my dog to kiss me he will really ignore me and i think it is so sweet because the moment i turn away from him that is the time that he will run after me and jump and try to kiss me in the cheeks! i think that is so sweet!

I've had dogs all my life and honestly can't imagine a life without them. Each one had their own personalities and special memories. One was a pure breed collie that adopted all the cats in our neighborhood. She would show them how to use the dog door to get in and where the cat food was. At one point she had almost 30 different cats coming and going from our house. Another one was Kit Kat. He was the friendliest dog I have ever seen, but he hated one kid that lived in my neighborhood. Every time this kid would come around he would start growling and barking from behind my legs. He never attacked this kid though. Yet another dog had to sleep on my head. He would lay on my pillow and curl up around my head. It was actually quite comfortable.

That would have to ba anytime you are down and your dog senses it and just comes over to love on you. They are very in tune with our feelings. My dog would come over and lick my face or nuzzle. It always made me feel better.
