marriage?

My girlfriend and have been going out for 2 years now and we have already began to talk about marriage. is this strange, and is there any hope that a relationship so brief could result in a happy marriage.

I think it's ok to talk about it. I saw others who lasted for about 9 years but they didn't end up together. I don't think that it's about the time you spent with each other but the love and the understanding that you have.
