Money can give you what you want for a short time, but then later on you are going to want more of something else. Then you need more money to buy the thing that you want. But what happens when you run out of money? Then you are just unhappy. Then you have to find something else to make you happy. I think too many people in this world rely too much on money to make them happy.

I think it helps but it does not buy all happiness. When you dont have money then things are ruff and your not always happy but even if you have alot of money you will never be happy and you will always want more!

Money can not buy happiness, but it sure helps out along the way. If you are able to pay all your bills and live well, that contributes a lot to your happiness.

No. It can at the same time if someone is making you happy just because of your money, and not letting you know he/she is doing it for the money.

No money does not buy happiness. It can bring you joy for the moment but once you've done everything that you have set out to do you become unhappy trying to feel a void.

Money can definitely buy financial security which can buy alot of people happiness. I for one am very happy when I don't have to worry about how bills are going to get paid. Not to mention all the other wonderful things money can do. But I still feel that most people need other things such as family, friends, hobbies, etc.. to be happy.

I think it depends on what makes you happy...if it's fast cars then sure, but if it's real intimacy...then no

I don't think money can buy happiness; however, I do feel it can go a long way towards easing unhappiness! :)

Heeelll no!!!! Trust me on this 1 people. You can always go out n make money the harder u try the more u make! But not everybody finds true love, or even a decent relationship 4 that matter, so 2 the those of you who answer yes its obvious that u have not yet found love. I know my share of wealthy lonely people and granted they do have everything money can buy,yet they have nobody 2 share it with & also have a hard trusting anybody just because of the very reason that they have 2 much money.

I disagree totally. If it is money-bought happiness, when money goes, happiness goes.

No way. Money can buy material things and even sometimes friends. But they're not really friends if solely based on money. And then, what happens when the money is no longer there. And what about if you get really sick or even on your deathbed... what can you do with your money then. Some diseases can't be solved with money.

I don't think you can buy happiness, but money can relieve a lot of stress and anxiety people feel that keeps happiness away. I know after my oldest child was born both me and my husband were out of work. Bills were piling up and I was so scared how we would work it all off. He finally found a great job and when he brough home his first paycheck (for just over $700 for just half a week) I cried. I had never been so happy in my life. I was able to pay off several bills and catch up on some others. It was an awesome feeling. Right now in my life I know money is a key factor of why I am not happy. I don't want millions. I want enough to pay off our debt so we can live an easier, less complicated existance and not worry if we have to pay those credit card bills or feed our family each week.

I would think that it would if I didn't know so many miserabe people with money. Bad things happen to the wealthy too.
