I think Vista will rock on the graphics and the cool things it stole from Linux. (!) Either way, I think microsoft will not fail us on unexpected (sarcasm) security holes. I don't think I'll install Vista on any of my production machines until SP2.

Vista will rock as long as it can overcome its current security and incmpatibility issues. It is visually appealing and has of nifty new features. Its a cool OS, but it will be cooler if it can resolve current issues.

By the looks of the Operating system and the features that it offers I think it will be everyone's favorite Windows OS.. But if there are any compatibility issues and bugs like Microsoft's Previous OS Windows ME, It will fail.. I hope that it will rock and give support to all the new technologies...

If it will have better security than it surely will beat win xp. It certainly has done that a graphics, but sadly visual aspect is the main thing Microsoft seems to be concerned of. I mean, that's what appeals to the public, and they know it, but they should pay more attention to the flaws of their "new, improved, extra stable" operating systems.

Microsoft always make their new products bigger & better than their previous ones. Vista will definitely outperform XP in all fields if you got the right software to run it on. I think Vista will be more successful than XP and will take the companies to new levels that the previous versions could not.

windows always rocks and i have no doubt that vista will rock, windows has been time again delivering good and user friendly technology that i love. inspite of the stiff competition from the open systems vista will always rock.

Well, I've recently installed Windows Vista on my PC, I have a 2,6 AMD CPU on Gygabyte VT880RZ and 1GB of memory and I was surprised by it's interface; I think they have done a good job but just like XP, it needs a little bit more time until it reaches the popularity desired by Microsoft. It's certain that it need's more service packs, security patches and bug fixes but I believe that they would make Vista run fine eventually.
